Various birds over at Goolwa

This morning we wandered over to the No 19 barrage at Goolwa as I wanted to see what birds, waders in particular were still there. I saw a bunch of pelicans, a greater egret, ducks, a heap of small birds I couldnt identify, I think one was a dotterel, some avocets and stilts as well as terns and various ducks. There were two barrages open and birds every where. Also an early snake going into the reeds. A beautiful morning, lovely to be out and about. My eyes dont see these birds terribly well but I took photos and from them I could identify some species. Jon of course could see through the binoculars but I cant.

Something reassuring about seeing lots of birds on the water.
