Morning walk on the cliffs

Not the best day.

I had every intention this morning of going for a walk, but I felt pretty rotten this morning g, a tally for a lot of the day. Friend W called in to see me which was lovely, she is working on a gorgeous bird quilt, or possibly a cushion cover. So all I could come up with was more pots. I am pleased my favorite bird bath is back with me. Pots and more pots. One more cake finished.

Been a bit busy.

We managed a walk this morning, then over to get a few pots from Tab and called in to the nursery on the way home home and bought a patio rose, they do well in pots and some white petunias. Home and potted them up and a few others and ran out of potting mix.I was going to make biscuits and a ake but got a it sidetracked organising my spice collection that had been in a box and got them where I can find them, John did some vacuuming so we are a bit organised, but tired. Cake and biscuits tomorrow, I hope! Sorry about the repeat photos.

A lovely day.

In more than one way. I drove to Adelaide, now I haven't driven for weeks and was beginning to wonder if I ever would. So pleased I managed it so well. And I drove home again too, nearly a 4 hour round trip. The reason for the trip was a class at Art Stretchers Making printing blocks, a great afternoon with only 5 of us playing at carving and then printing. Mine, as usual were quite simple.

Inside and out.

We had a resonance amount of rain overnight and big bangs of Thunder. It has drizzled a bit through the day and is much cooler thank heaven. I had a reasonably busy day a visit to the podiatrist, shopping, where I came home feeling tired and a bit off. Over to get some stuff out of the container, looking for Christmas stuff. The clouds were on top of the hills, and I didn't take photos so when I came home around the garden, in pots but the purple tradascantia (not sure of the spelling, and a couple of photos inside. Oh and John getting his little lawnmower together, it does have a 3 year guarantee, might need it it's very plastic!
