l have been doing a bit of hand sewing. This took longer to do than I expected. John has been to see the specialist and he doesn't have to have a new hip yet. So pleased.

Nice little needlecase. I don't have one. I have a lot of pincushions...one for each kind of stitching I do. I really should make a needlecase.
Good news on your husband's hip. Some people say it's a breeze. After having foot surgery, I hope I never ever have to have any other surgery on my bones, anyway.
