Around the bay this afternoon.

I have been having problems finding my photos, the normal way I do it is not working. Mega frustration so this afternoon I took my tablet, not the lovely photos from this morning but at least it is the sea. I haven't been feeling 100% for a while and things do seem to have been getting on top of me a bit. When my body aches the rest of me doesn't function as well. The weather has warmed up a bit but a change is supposed to be on the way. Yesterday I drove over to see the foals at Sarah's, I haven't driven for a couple of months but all was well, just a lot of traffic and I got home tired! Stupid. I think maybe I am trying to do too much and all feeling rather over whelmed. 3 online classes and a book collaboration, still the classes are there for ever. Just maybe I won't be!

Roses and a new tabby cat.

Roses and sage from the garden. I knitted this rather desperate looking cat and his head is now finished, I found a ball of this painted wool in Spotlight and it just called out to be a tabby cat. I had bought the girl pattern but this will be a boy. I have just found out that one of my blog friends, Pat, the weaver of grass is in hospital after a fall. I do hope she is alright. She writes a lovely blog and I do hope she can get back to writing it while she recuperate.

Images from Kangaroo Island

I thought I had node some posts while we were on the Island but perhaps it was only fb. We had a brilliant few days away but came home exhausted, as John keeps saying it was a bit much for these old people. I think we are finally recovering. Chapman River had lovely reflections and provided us with a nice big bream for dinner. Lots of flowers. Pennington bay, unmade roads and trees. I love the Island.

A quick drive to Waitpinga this afternoon.

A beautiful day, spoilt by spending far too much time on the computer trying to find my photos. I have finally but I have no idea how to do it again. Dreadfl news that a dear friend is not going to survive a fall, feeling devastated. We did also manage a drive over to Goolwa and saw two interesting exhibitions and had a wander along the wharf. Would have liked to have put some of those photos up but I cant find them. Life really does seem to get more stressful at the moment. I hope our 4 days on Kangaroo Island at the end of the week make me feel more positive, even though the weather does look a bit iffy. We have been enjoying the aple spice cake I made the other day, I shouldnt have it so tiny pieces but it is very nbice. John has no restrictions!

This and that

I have not felt much like doing anything. My back has been aching badly and walking and doing anything has been a chore. So a few photos of the garden and a few "odd bods" I hav been playing with. We have managed a few short walks but I come home an arthritic, aching mess. The weather has been very changeable, wet and cold, windy and cold, a warm pleasant day and back to cold and wet. Is it any wonder I feel a bit off. I have done a few bits on the on line course I am doing g with Lorna crane but my paints and table are under cover by the back door and it has been so cold and horrid I only go out when the weather is nice. I wonder ithat is what turning 81 does for one.

Wandering in Mt Billy cp.

Oh dear I do wish things wouldnt change, for some reason I now have to get to my photos in a strange and wonderful way. Here are the ones I took the other day when we were walking at Mt Billy, more flowers were out but the odd sun orchids were not really out properly, still they were there. Yesterday S and I went down to Woods Well on the Coorong to collect a pony her daughter had been working for her mother. Her fellow has a lovely big property and it was nice to have lunch with them and see abit of very different country.. Today I am aching as we left here at 8.30 am and got home about 4pm. A lot of it driving and as it is the start of a long week end and school holidays the roads were very crowded as everyone was spending it in the State. Any way we survived it. A very warm couple of days, with the hope of wet weather and cooler days from this evening. I dont think I am ready for the heat. Nor for an aching body. My birthday tomorrow, 81, I cant believe it, just have to survive until then.

Thought I put these up yesterday.

I have been playing with the primitive little doll shapes, they are fun to embellish and play with.. the little banksia cone has a lovely organic shape and I am loving having having a few roses from the garden. I am having problems getting photos up on the main computer but today we had another lovely walk at the Mt Billy cp with more fslower out. Perhaps tomorrow, an hours walk left me so tired. Tomorrow I will go down to Meningie with S which will be nice
