I saw these in the Belle Armoure I bought in LA and thought they would be fun to do, designed by Annie Lockhart, I have had at the back of my mind playing with something like this and her article spurred me on. I have lots of odd bits of ribbon and I was in a panic about quilting my Art Quilt top, (this is now done) and anything not to do it.
the quilt is now quilted, not terribly well but ok, now to spend hours beading it.
Visitors late this afternoon, the phone off all day but now much better, and the fellows out to look at replacing the flue in the sitting room fire so all in all pretty busy.
Oh and it has rained, but not as much as Adelaide, darn it.
