Today at Aldinga beach

I took these photos today while I was on Aldinga Beach. John was going fishing with D"Arry and I went over to see Paddy who was going to be at her holiday house at Pt Willunga.
It was a glorious day, sun, not too much wind and not too hot, quite different to two days ago when part of Kangaroo Island was wiped out with fires, we could see the smoke as we climbed out of the valley and over the high ridge of Mt Alma.
The last photo shows the boat coming in with a good supply of fish, and a hopeful fellow fishing off the beach.
the others show what the beach looks like and with the lovely folded hills behind. Cars are allowed on the beach but it does make walking along it a bit fraught.
I had a lovely day, enjoying the sun, a bit of shopping, managed a couple of galleries and all in all very pleasant to get away for a while.
