Early morning walk on the cliffs

There was a lovely cool breeze this morning but it is heating up quickly now. Hotter again tomorrow. I am not good with heat. Must be an age thing I think. My feet swell and I am not at all comfortable in myself. I am making some Christmas cards and am half way through another cake. I should have got to it abit earlier I think. I have trouble getting motivated in this weather. I did manage to get the last of the washing done and most is now dry, the line wont take all of it in one day, a small rotary line which hangs over the tomatoes planted by the shed! Not sure why but at least with the water pressure the washing all gets done so much quicker than on the farm. I think it is almost time to turn on the airconditioner.

yes summer is here in Australia, so I can relate. I don't do heat very well these days either, and I hate it if I have to be in the sun too long. Stay cool! and thank you so much for stopping by my blog today.

I would love to be able to go for a stroll along the roads, but unfortunately there is still ice underfoot and I do not want to have a fall, so am staying indoors.

Hot and sticky up here too Penny, with odd showers which pop up out of nowhere, so you need to be careful about going for a walk without a brolly! I hope you feel a bit better soon, Christmas is not a great time to be feeling off. Cheers

Good Morning Penny. I have been away for a few days. No, not a pleasant trip. I feel I was knocking on death's door but they didn't let me in. I prayed to enter but they, luckily, ignored me. A terrible 4 day virus is hitting my family one at a time. Thank God not all at the same time, lol. Now the kid seems to have brought a respiratory "thing" in. Will this never end, lol.

I understand how you feel about the heat. I used to thrive in it, now I wither. Be well my friend, and don't let any Rugrats come live with you. They carry the most horrible "bugs", lol.
xx, Carol
