Tide in, Inman River going out

An interesting morning walk, high tide and a high river as well. At times almost a tide race coming in and then the river going out at speed. A lot of rain over night, then a windy but not wet morning, now high winds and rain. I made pumpkin soup for lunch, 2 small loads of washing, on the line and then in before the rain, still damp but on the clothes horse. It is cold out this end of the house but nice in the sitting room by the fire. I am being naughty and reading.I really do need to do a bit more sewing but am enjoying just being chased across Austria by nasties in an old book. Brings back our travels through Austria and Switzerland and Italy in our skiing days. now I am afraid long gone.

I love looking at old photographs of our travelling days - it brings back memories and they are the next best thing to doing it all over again.

You have been lucky to have traveled. I always thought Terry and I would. I think back about all the reasons for that. I wonder if I could go back and do things differently ... would I? I'm not really sure. Maybe in my NEXT life.
