Stunning clouds this morning, and I am not a quilter.

There were some magnificent clouds over the sea this morning as we walked. Not a long walk as there was a lot of sea weed and it was difficult. I have been feeling a bit upset lately, nothing to worry about, just things not going quite to plan. I have been working on this little quilt over the last few days. I am not a quilter but at Ballarat Elizabeth used it as a cushion as she was a bit low for her machine and when we were finishing asked if any one wanted it. I thought it might do for my latest great grandson for a floor mat. When i looked at it there was quite a lot of work to be done so I did my best. Any way it is now finished to the best of my ability and isnt too bad. Only thing is I have no idea if the fabrics had been washed first. If it runs we will know. Any way something for nothing and it is bright and fun looking. I will never be a proper quilter. Thanks to whoever started it and to Elizabeth for giving it to me.

I have sewn all my life and have never been a quilter. But I am learning.
