Pea hen and chicks

My pea hen has had chicks, they are about 5 weeks old now. Amazing so far she hasnt lost any. Very low tide for our walk this morning. I feel rather tired and full of aches. I did a silly thing yesterday, I pulled out a plastic container from under the bed to get some felt and forgot to put it back. Not wanting to wake John up last night I didnt turn on the light and basically fell into it as I went to bed, Talk about a mess, he was half asleep, I couldnt move and trying to get me out of a very confined space was not easy, I have a nasty scrape down my left arm where I collected the bed base and a lot of other aches and pains and bruises. I can laugh about it now but then!! I really wont go into any more about it but golly gosh it was not nice.

Oh dear! ...and all because we go to bed later than them - without light. Get better soon.

I adore peafowl and would love some but the farmer does not adore them sadly.

Ooooooer...I can sympathise. You are fortunate not to have done some serious damage. Cute chicks.

Hi P - talk about being in the wars - these things can happen so easily. Hope your scopes and bruises are healing. Lovely image of the Pea hen and chicks. We often think of having some hens on our block but don't think we are responsible enough. Go well and get well. B

Oh dear! Hope you are feeling better now. In recent years we have added night lights to the hallways, the bedrooms and the bathrooms - such a help. I am definitely not as 'coordinated' as I used to be and need all the help I can get *smile*. Heal quickly.

Oh dear, I can really sympathise. I stupidly slipped getting into the shower bath last September and did myself some serious damage - 20 stitches and numerous visits to the doctor's surgery till December! We have a non slip mat in the bottom of the bath now.
Love the low tide photo. Cheers
