Around the garden.

My peace flag is flying. Thank you Fiona and Barry. Not that there seems much peace around the world at the moment. Sometimes I wonder what we are coming to. The garden has some nice bits at the moment. Spring is definetly here but the weather goes from warm to cold, sunny and damp.

Sadly our country's president (I would NOT say he is MY president) has contributed to much of the chaos and violence. But honestly it seems there are many leaders that share his views. The oppressed people look for freedom but the countries they are fleeing to cannot sustain them. In the mean time industry continues to destroy our earth. One can only wonder where this will all lead. I read an article in a Time special edition that said the hottest city in the world is in Pakistan. Daily highs are 120 degrees F. How do you live in that heat or grow crops to eat? I think you and I will be gone from this earth before these questions are answered.

In the mean while, fly your flag and I will fly mine and try to be peaceful in my own patch of land on this earth.

xx, Carol
