Yesterday the sea was quite a bit rougher
It is as predicted hot outside so after a very early beach walk, which started off cool and pleasant but very soon became a lot warmer and we were glad to get into the house which I had shut up. Now the air conditioner is on as it soon became most unpleasant. I have started on an angel for my great grand daughter, as she wasn't here last Christmas and another Odd Bod has been started and a few little Christmas decorations have been cut out. Things to do while my aching feet are elevated. I really don't like getting/being old. At the moment I would love pleasantly cool weather, some rain and thinking of making soup instead of salad. Mustn't grumble I suppose, I am still here.

Late yesterday
Wandering the back roads towards the sea about 4.30 yesterday. Nice and cool today thank goodness and then very hot tomorrow. I find this very changeable weather very tiring. Love our drives out around this beautiful area. Morning beach walks have been good too. I am almost panicking, still so much to do before Christmas, I feel it will be on me very quickly.

Out of lockdown
We had a walk on the beach this morning and later today we wver to Parsons Beach. One of my favorite places. It is getting hotter and my aged body doesn't enjoy it any more. Funny when you think we spent so much of our younger years loving the heat and spent so much time at the beach. Our lock down was because some one lied. I think our government did the right thing when they thought they had the facts and when it was discovered they didnt they stopped our lock down very quickly.

6 day lockdown
It seems strange. We seem to have aquired a very virulent strain of this virus and rightly those in power are trying to nip it in the bud. No walks on the beach for 6 days will will be hard so photos taken this afternoon. Stay safe and we'll everyone.

Odd bods and from Kings Beach car park.
I have almost become addicted to making these odd bods. Love making them. Yesterday in the late afternoon we went over to the Kings Beach car park and took a few photos. Such a lovely part of the world.

Odd Bods and roses.
Suddenly it has become hot. 33 degrees by the beach at 10am according to the car. It is now overcast but I am inside with the air con on. I will have a glass of bubbly at 2.30 as I watch the Melbourne cup. The horse race that stops the nation. Unfortunately due to covid no one can watch it at the racecourse. What an odd world we live in. The spectre of the virus looms over us all.
My roses hav e been spectacular this year, so far only 3 bushes are flowering, 2 more with buds, after today I think they may suddenly burst forth. It has been rather a shock for the garden as well as for me, this sudden burst of heat. Such a lovely mild and damp October, the gardens have loved it but this is Australia and summer is not far off and with it the threat of fire. I have been having fun with my odd bods and I am also doing a book collaboration but I can't show that yet. As well as a couple of online courses. I am very slow but will get there, eventually. Stay safe every one.
