This and that
We walked this morning, a little damp and some magnificent clouds. We have had the odd high tide that has moved sea weed around and made steep sand banks. The Norfolk Island pines are always there. This afternoon we went over to Yankalilla, a lovely drive to see the plaque in the Anglican cemetery that has been put up by the local history society (I think) for my great aunt and uncle, they ran an early bus service and Auntie Lilly apparently had a wonderful voice and sang in the church. I can only just remember them. I am not 100% sure if she was a great or great great aunt. Nice to have a bit of family history recognised.

A walk on the cliffs this afternoon
We didnt have time to do a morning walk as we had to shop but this afternoon we went to the Kings beach car park where we had a lovely walk on the cliffs. I have been feeling very tired lately but my GP tells me that my blood test showed an improvement for my diabetes. I would hope so I seem to be on so many different medications. I think age is catching up as I seem to get tired very quickly. Still I am slowly getting my February on line class done, way behind but not minding as there is plenty of my time to do it. The weather thank goodness has been so much cooler and it is officially autumn in 2 days, not that that makes a lot of difference, I remember a lot of very hot days in March. At least I am still enjoying my walks.

Shark
John and son in law John went fishing off Wirrina yesterday and this rather large fish came to investigate them. Not aggresive or hungry just circled around for a while, about 5 metres they think, white pointer they think. son in law had a lovely video but I havent been able to share it. They were quite excited. I spent the day home trying to sew. It has got hot and I am not feeling the best.

More beach walks
Amazing what you find on the beach, sometimes even a husband. Some days there is very little but others there is more of interest. These large jellyfish have started to appear, the odd dead bird, not sure a mutton bird perhaps, a lovely little box fish, loved it when we were diving and they come and pear into your face mask, sad to see this pretty little one dead. Glad I am not swimming with these large jellyfish are around. On one beach they were mostly smashed up by the waves. We have had lovely clouds and this morning a very calm sea, lots of boats out fishing, I wonder if the tuna is still around as these were unusual for a Monday morning. Warming up as we walked, we were glad to get back inside. I am sewing quietly, my daily, but way behind, daily practice from my India Flint workshop.Exciting times ahead.

Photos from the last few days
Various photos from the last few days. Low tide, smokey days, the old mill now converted into a house at Encounter Bay, we used to look at this as children and then suddenly it seemed to disapear, houses were built all about it and it was also converted into a holiday house. Lovely thing. It has been quite uncomfortable sticky and rather warm over the last few days. I havent done a lot, been inside sewing and doing a bit of eco dying.

Morning walk
Irresponsible fishermen, a tuna washed ashore, not much left of it but should not have been dumped where it could get to shore. We walked along further than we usually do so a few new photos. Tired, as usual but happy with what I am doing at the moment. The weather so far has been very pleasant. May it stay that way.
